Palos Heights's Top-Rated Shower Replacement Businesses
This site usually splits shower replacement pros into tile, plumbing and glass; Palos Heights doesn't have the license data to do that yet, so this page works from Google instead. The 5 businesses below sit in one ranked list rather than our usual trade split, ordered by combining their star rating with review count. A high rating tells you what past customers thought, nothing about which license, if any, a business holds.

What Palos Heights's housing stock means for shower replacement
Palos Heights's median home dates to 1976.
58% of the city's housing stock predates 1980.
In a home that old, Palos Heights homeowners commonly find outdated valves or a cracked pan behind walls that otherwise look fine.
That's worth flagging to a Palos Heights contractor before they quote the job sight unseen.
5 top-rated shower replacement pros near Palos Heights

Questions for each trade
- Tile: who waterproofs the wall before new tile goes up, and what product do they use?
- Tile: does the quote include removing the old surround, or does that happen separately?
- Plumbing: is the new valve pressure-balance or thermostatic, and what brand and model?
- Plumbing: does the drain stay in its current spot, or is it moving?
- Glass: framed or frameless, and is the glass tempered to meet the safety-glazing rule for wet locations?
- Glass: what's the lead time on ordering, since custom glass is often the longest-lead item on the job?
- All trades: who is the single point of contact if something needs to be redone?
